Surprise! The Band is Recording.

February 21, 2018

We’ve been talking about it in theory for a long time, and then “Bam!”, the opportunity arose to record this Friday. So without much planning or forethought, Amy & The Elements will start recording this Friday. I will be making some video of the recording process in studio and my Patrons on Patreon will be able to see those videos. They will also receive pre-release content. Can’t wait to start this new endeavor and share it with you! To become a Patron and get perks please visit this link! www.patreon.com/amyobenski

Looking for Extras – New Music Video

February 9, 2018

We are looking for Extras to participate in a Music Video shoot next weekend! You can be in my video! Please send me an email at contactamy[at]obenski.net if interested. My good friend, Evan Morrison, came up with the idea and is thoroughly dedicated to making it happen.

The script is thought provoking, relevant for today’s current issues in the U.S. and slightly controversial! If you’d like to know more about the premise or to help us fund the project please visit the fundraising link. There’s a video there where we explain more.

Big Weekend, Two Bay Area Shows!

August 17, 2017

This weekend is busy!  Amy & The Elements has a show at Federation Brewing in Oakland on Friday night.  Then on Sunday I’m finally having my Music Video Release Party!  I’m excited that we get to celebrate in the cute little Shelton Theater in San Francisco.  It’s such a cool spot!  We’re starting at 6pm, mingling in the bar with the cast and crew, plus some fancy cheeses and other tasty things will be available from LOVAGE.  Then, around 7pm, we will view the video on a big screen and I’ll do a Live Looping show until shortly after 8pm.  More information for both these events are on the right side of this page.  See you out there!

July 8th Show Recap

July 12, 2017

I had a great show with my band, Amy & The Elements on July 8th!   I’m so lucky to play with these guys. Rafael Sarria has rockstar level guitar playing, Marvin Ibe jams out on that bass like no one’s business and Chris McGrew is a master high energy drummer.  They all take me up to the next level and my fullest potential.  Together we do this eclectic groove-rock thing. People were telling me it was psychedelic.  I love that!  Teresa Tuan and her brand new all female band opened the night and they were jaw droppingly perfect.  SongRise Studios presented the show, meaning Jasmine Pritchard was hosting and MC-ing the event.  We also had another Theresa running the sound. This show was overrun by women in music!  And I can’t tell you how incredibly refreshing that is.
